RASco Incorporated Awarded $25.0 Million Department of General Services Administration Contract
The General Services Administration (GSA) selected RASco Incorporated as one of eight Awardees of a Five (5) Year Multiple Award IDIQ Contract for General Construction and Design/Build Services for miscellaneous construction projects for U.S. Department of State facilities throughout the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
WOODBRIDGE, VA. — April 4, 2014 — RASco Incorporated, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business located in Woodbridge, Virginia, a multi-disciplinary turn-key engineering and construction services firm, today announced that the General Services Administration (GSA) selected RASco Incorporated as one of eight Awardees of a Five (5) Year Multiple Award IDIQ Contract for General Construction and Design/Build Services for miscellaneous construction projects for U.S. Department of State facilities throughout the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
The contract is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity vehicle for General Construction and Design/Build Services for miscellaneous construction projects for U.S. Department of State facilities throughout the metropolitan Washington, DC area. This project will utilize multiple task orders to demolish, construct and/or renovate building spaces at the Main Department of State Building and its annexes in the National Capital Region (NCR). Within the GSA building inventory, the Harry S Truman Building (HST) is comprised of approximately 1.66 million net square feet of office space, of which 120,000 square feet is currently under a prospectus level renovation
