Annual Meeting Completes Third Year of Business for Chamber
Prince William, Virginia – Members of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce recently gathered to close out their third fiscal year with an Annual Meeting and Installation of Officers at Stonewall Golf Club in Gainesville. The luncheon, sponsored by MTCI-Management & Training Consultants, Inc. served as a celebratory showcase with an Annual Report from Chamber President & CEO Rob Clapper as well as remarks from outgoing Chairman Pete Dolan, Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley, Emrich & Walsh, PC and incoming Chairman William White, Apple Federal Credit Union.
Highlights from the year included launching the Prince William Business Academy and the Northern Virginia Executive Forum, as well as the Veteran’s Council; each aimed at engaging a different portion of the business community.
Dalena Kanouse, Owner and Chairwoman of event sponsor MTCI noted during her time at the podium that the Prince William Chamber has been a catalyst for her company’s growth in recent years. She also thanked the leadership of the various committees she oversees for the work they do to move forward the Chamber’s community outreach initiatives.
As the outgoing Chairman, Dolan concluded his remarks saying, “As we look toward 2014 and beyond, I remain optimistic about the importance of our Chamber to the success of our community and to our economy.”
