For Immediate Release: September 22, 2017 – McCall Design Studio, Visual Communications/DMVISUAL LLC kickstarts 30 yrs. in business September 22, 2017 with a PW Chamber Ribbon Cutting celebrating her community and national work for nonprofits, government, educational institutions, associations, businesses and her March 17, 2017 expansion to include a visual gallery/museum for community individuals and groups. Guests include (VA) Senator McPike, House of Representatives Congresswoman Comstock’s Director Stegmaier, Board of Directors, CEOs, customers, artists, musicians, associates, friends, and family. Denise McCall, Director/Founder, founded her 100% woman-owned creative branding studio in 1988 and has had prior offices in VA, PA, TX, CT, and Philadelphia. She has been a diverse multimedia artist since her youth and holds a BFA from Temple University School of Arts, with post graduate education from Moore College of Art & Design, Rhode Island School of Design, and Harvard University. McCall is a PW Chamber member, ambassador, and mentor since 2011, an AAF member since 2002, and a AIGA member since 1989. After serving her military community and her studio selection by INC. Magazine of NYC, the past two years she has continued her work in communications, and to secure and uplift a historic facility in the heart of Historic Manassas’s arts’ section. With her and her tenants being all women in the facility, we have grown together helping each other, and uplifting and adding economic development in our community. McCall’s venue also has helped artists and musicians with her events’ community outreach. The current exhibit in addition to the “1920’s on… exhibit” showcases the color and bold patterns of American Indian art, artifacts, and functional designs. As a second generation American, she honors creatives who have come to this land and who have forged a path and have a legacy of art that helped shaped our country. About 60 guests attended our event. We are thankful to all who joined us to kickstart celebrate 30 years. Her next 1st Friday event at the Gallery is October 6th with live music and the arts, 5 PM – 9 PM. We are planning our fall and winter events coming.
