Congratulations to Joe Turpin with New Media Horizons, for being 
selected the Prince William Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Quarter! Joe is one of the most active Ambassadors and regularly attends networking meetings, ribbon cuttings and mentors new Chamber members. He continuously promotes member businesses and community organizations, and assists members with accomplishing their goals through strategic partnerships with networking. We are honored to have him as part of the Ambassador Committee as he is an integral part of advancing the Chamber’s mission to assist members in creating valuable business relationships.
How long have you been in business and why did you choose your field?
I’ve been in business almost 7 years now. I chose this field because I was using these marketing techniques to help me in my personal sales and after seeing a high level of success, others started coming to me for help. It just made sense to turn this into a service I could provide to others.
For you, what is the primary benefit of being a Chamber Ambassador?
I believe that the primary benefit of being a Chamber Ambassador is the ability to meet so many people in the area. Not only the new members as a coach or mentor, but also a great number of other people in the business community. Networking through the Chamber has brought me two thirds of my total business.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be, and why?
If I could choose a superpower, it would be the ability to eat anything I want without gaining weight… just kidding. I would like to fly. I believe that not only would this power enhance my life but it would allow me to help many other people as well.
