International Adult Literacy

The ability to read is a gift. Whether you’re learning English or new literacy skills, or you are able to teach skills to others, come to Potomac Library’s Open House on Monday, September 8th at 7:00 p.m. in celebration of International Literacy Day. The Literacy Volunteers of America and other community resources will discuss their ESOL and literacy services and how you can become either a learner or a volunteer. Library staff will be giving library tours and information on how the public library can support adult learners. Bring your kids, too we’ll read stories and give a tour of the children’s area.  Light refreshments will be served. Drop-in; no registration needed.
