Reston, VA – September 17th, 2014– FedCocktail launches its latest “social approach to business” at Iris Lounge in Tysons, Va. on Sept. 25.
Along with sponsors DiverseCEO and VMD Systems, FedCocktail will hold its next networking event Sept. 25, 6 to 9 p.m. at Iris Lounge, 1524 Spring Hill Road, Tyson’s Corner, VA. More than 125 attendees are expected at this happy-hour geared towards professionals in government contracting and related industries.
Launched in February 2012, FedCocktail has been helping “businessmen and women network in style,” said FedCocktail founder Rick Kholsa, also publisher of DiverseCEO magazine and a principle at REGA Solutions. “We provide clients a unique way to mingle in a non-business atmosphere all while expanding their Rolodex. Or LinkedIn,” said Kholsa.
Kholsa created FedCocktail to provide an open forum for businesses and professionals engaged in procuring goods and services to local, state and federal governments. Its stated mission is to facilitate teaming opportunities, allow participants to meet with others who are engaged in similar practice, exchange core capabilities and have an overall memorable experience of getting to know others’ secret to success. The quarterly event is held in unique venues throughout the Washington, D.C. region, where guests can mingle in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. For instance, Iris Lounge boasts the only cigar bar in Tysons and an eclectic menu ranging all the way from chicken wings to sushi.
