Effective June 1, 2020, RADM, USN Ret., James “Jim” Shannon assumes the responsibilities as President of ASSETT Inc. RADM Shannon’s selection resulted from a formal search process that evaluated well over 200 high caliber Executive candidates. The combination of experience, vision, and leadership style were the perfect match for ASSETT’s strategic direction. ASSETT is an innovative small business located in Manassas, VA. currently supporting NAVSEA and the Special Operations Communities. ASSETT performs the majority of its work as a Defense Prime contractor, including organic IRAD, System Engineering, System Design, Development, Build, Testing, and Delivery. Its three lines of business span Decision Support/AI-ML, Acoustics/Signal Processing, and Engineering Consulting/Cyber. ASSETT’s developed technologies are also applicable to the Health Care Industry, Urban automation including traffic control and smart cities, as well as energy management.
