Aesop’s Fables at Central Community Library

The Fourth Annual Janice Eisenhart Program Features Aesop’s Fables.
Even though Aesop lived over 3000 years ago, his imaginative, enlightening and just plain entertaining tales are still relevant today. Join us at Central Community Library on Saturday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m. to see three of Aesop‘s beloved tales brought to life by puppeteer Christopher Hubert of Applause Unlimited. “The Ant and The Grasshopper,” “The Country Mouse and The City Mouse,” and “The Tortoise and The Hare” will be performed using a different form of puppetry for each.
This free program is for families. Free tickets are required and will be available beginning November 8.
Ms. Eisenhart was a member of the children’s staff at Central Library for 38 years. Her special focus was preschool storytime. She always enjoyed introducing children to new stories and ideas in the hopes of sparking their imagination and initiating a love of reading. We hope that all who attend remember Ms. Eisenhart with fondness for all she did to enhance the literacy skills of her many, many storytime participants.
