Third Thursday Thrillers Book Discussion Group. Please join us at the Potomac Community Library for Third Thursday Thrillers to discuss the “Curiosity Killed the Cat Sitter” by Blaize Clement on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m. This debut mystery is set on Siesta Key, near Sarasota, Florida and features Dixie Hemingway, whose family tragedy drove her from the police force into the bars. Now clean, Dixie has started a career as a professional pet sitter. Dixie goes early one morning to her first client of the day, a silver-blue Abyssinian named Ghost. She finds a man dead, face down in the pet bowl. Dixie tries to find the animal’s owner and discovers she is also dead. Pretty soon Dixie becomes suspect number one. Unbeknownst to the homicide detective handling the murders, Dixie begins her own investigation.
