Nancy Smith – Treasurer

Nancy Smith has served as the Director of Corporate Affairs at I-66 Express Mobility Partners, under a loaned personnel agreement with I-66EMP shareholder company Meridiam, since 2022 where she plays a pivotal role as a member of the company’s executive team. She oversees various functions for the owner and operator of the 66 Express Outside the Beltway, including government and public affairs, communications and media relations, stakeholder/community relations, and brand reputation management. Nancy coordinates activities between asset shareholders, VDOT and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of project phases, managing public and government expectations, and steering strategic community investment initiatives and strategic marketing and branding campaigns.

Prior to her current position, Nancy spent seven years as the Public Relations Manager for Ferrovial Construction, leading public information, stakeholder management, and community outreach for the contractor of the $2.4 billion Transform 66 Outside the Beltway project.

With over two decades of experience in transportation and land-use policy, Nancy has held notable roles, including Policy Director of the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance, Vice President of Government and Public Affairs for the Prince William Chamber of Commerce, the Washington Business Roundtable and the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association.
