Bill Karlson

Bill Karlson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Manassas-based KO Distilling, which makes and sells bourbon, other whiskeys, and American gin.  Formerly he worked 26 years for Stanley, Inc., a Virginia-based federal contractor, where he served as a Senior Vice President and as a Board member of the publicly traded company.  Bill is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY and received his Masters in Software System Engineering from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.  He also served as a Naval Reserve Officer for 9 years.
