Prince William Chamber of Commerce Announces 2018 Business Award Nominees
Manassas, VA-The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the nominees for their 2018 Business Awards. This year 105 nominations were received with 72 member businesses and not-for-profit organizations being recognized. Winners will be announced at the Chamber’s Business Awards Dinner on Wednesday, February 28 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas.  Jennifer Nycz-Conner, Editor-at-Large of the Washington Business Journal will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
This year will be the 3rd year that the Charles J. Colgan Visionary Award will be presented. Named for Virginia’s beloved longest-serving statesman, the award honors an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, including but not limited to their own organization. Like Senator Colgan, the individual should be known as an innovator, a great partner, a visionary and an advocate for their community and beyond.

The Agnes L. Colgan Community Service Awards are awarded to two not-for-profit organizations making a demonstrable positive contribution to the quality of life in the greater Prince William region. Each award is accompanied by a check for $1,000 to continue their work.  Awards are given in two categories: Arts & Education or Health & Human Services.
