Prince William Chamber of Commerce Launches Partnership with Internships.com

Internships.com will provide the chamber’s 2,000 members with a free platform to post internships.

Prince William, VA – The Prince William Chamber of Commerce and Internships.com, the world’s largest internship marketplace, have launched a partnership to enable employers and students to post and search for internship opportunities at no cost. The partnership provides Prince William Chamber members – from small businesses to large employers – with the tools and resources necessary to manage successful internship programs, which will help facilitate the growth of the talent community in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
“We are excited to offer this new internship portal to help area businesses connect with students to provide real-world work experience, preparing them for success in the workforce of tomorrow,” said Prince William Chamber President & CEO Rob Clapper.
To support the partnership, Internships.com has developed a dedicated microsite accessible to employers and students so they can directly search for and connect with each other for free.
“The Prince William Chamber is offering its members with a state of the art internships platform,” said Robin D. Richards, Chairman and CEO of Internships.com. “The chamber realizes that internships are a crucial component to a successful workforce development initiative, and we’re proud to support their efforts.”
Internships.com and the Chamber will work together to help inform chamber members about utilizing internships as a valuable recruiting strategy, facilitate internship connections within the community and provide cutting-edge tools and resources to optimize the process of hiring interns.
