The Prince William Chamber of Commerce has a unique proposition for area residents—the organization is inviting people to participate in a trip to the island nation of Cuba, May 3-11, 2013. Leaving from Miami, the all-inclusive package features an Old Havana walking tour, salsa dance lessons, museum visits, people-to-people interactions, cigar factory tour and an evening at the famous Tropicana club.
The Chamber has partnered with travel operator Chamber Explorations to offer this trip. Chamber Explorations will be issued a specific license by The Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), which authorizes registered guests of its programs to visit Cuba legally. The trip price of $3,599 double occupancy includes all necessary visas, as well as meals, RT airfare from Miami to Cuba, ground transportation and all activities in Cuba.
A free information session is being offered on Feb. 20, 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the Chamber Headquarters, 9720 Capital Court, Suite 203, Manassas. Chamber Explorations representative Ian Scott will be on hand to discuss the trip itinerary and answer any questions about traveling to Cuba. To register, call 703.368.6600 or go to “Events” on www.pwchamber.org to sign up online. For more information on the trip, including the full itinerary, visit www.pwchamber.org/travel.
