Medicare 101

Did you know that October 15th is the start of open season for Medicare? Do you have questions about which plan is right for you? If so, please visit Potomac Community Library on Monday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. for an informative program on Medicare. Rosemari Walker, from the Department of Aging will present information on Medicare parts A, B, and D and programs that will help pay for some of the costs of these programs to include coinsurance, deductibles, monthly premiums and drug costs. She will also discuss information about Medicare Fraud and Abuse and how to detect and report it. Ms. Walker will also discuss some of the other services the Department of Aging provides.
Registration for this adult program is recommended but not required beginning Monday, October 6th.
