Get Trained – Mental Health First Aid

OCTOBER 17, 2020, Prince William County, VA – The Mental Health First Aid USA program expands mental health “literacy” and reduces the social distance created by negative attitudes and perceptions of individuals with mental illnesses. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that Mental Health First Aid training enables participants to assess a mental health crisis; select interventions and provide initial help; and connect persons to professional, peer and social supports as well as self-help resources. As of 2018, the National Council for Behavioral Health certified more than 1 million people trained in Mental Health First Aid in the United States. The course is offered in English and Spanish.

Bold Alliance Global Strategies, Inc. offers the Mental Health First Aid training to lay community members and organizations across the United States in English and Spanish.
