Gov. Glenn Youngkin has appointed Farnaz Farkish Thompson, a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of McGuireWoods LLP, to the George Mason University Board of Visitors.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Thompson served as deputy general counsel in the U.S. Department of Education and as associate university counsel at the University of Virginia. Her appointment runs through June 30, 2027.
