Manassas, Virginia, May 20, 2014 – Victoria and Emily, the sister team of Cakes by Happy Eatery invite the community to join the bakery’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. The event will be held on Sunday, June 8, 1pm-4pm at Cakes by Happy Eatery, 9685 Liberia Ave., Manassas, VA. Cakes by Happy Eatery looks forward to include all those who have made the bakery a part of their lives through the years and those who would like to learn more about its sweet and savory treats.
“The bakery is really a part of the community and we want to celebrate with them. We have been included at important milestones for many, such as making their birthday cakes, wedding cakes, retirement cakes, or catering for a graduation. Now, we can celebrate what we have been a part of for three decades,” says Victoria. The open house will highlight specialties such as roast pork buns, chocolate éclairs, cake pops, chocolate parfaits, fruit trifles and bubble teas.
Cakes by Happy Eatery will also put their creative talents to work to showcase one of their largest birthday cake productions. The cake will highlight key moments in the bakery’s history and include a series of shooting stars as it looks towards the future. The birthday cake will be so large it can accommodate a flavor for most palettes, including vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet.
Emily adds, “All of the desserts are created by a team of bakers and pastry chefs, combining the elements of taste and artistry. We bake from scratch every day in a passionate and creative atmosphere. At the 30th Anniversary Celebration we will include desserts which cater to those with special dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegan, egg or dairy free, and sugar-free. Our celebratory luncheon will be kept nut-free for those that are sensitive.”
“Our bakery is rooted in versatility and we thoroughly enjoy sharing our kitchen’s creations,” notes Victoria. Cakes by Happy Eatery is open from 9am – 8pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am – 5pm on Sunday.
