Prince William Chamber Commercial Real Estate Showcase Offers Insight on Growing Market

Prince William, VA- The Prince William Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Commercial Real Estate Showcase (CRES)on Wednesday, May 29 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, 8:30-11:00 a.m. The showcase provides an exclusive update on economic trends in the Prince William region. Part trade show, part virtual tour, the event highlights available commercial real estate in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park with up-to-date aerial and land photography of the region and industry insights. This year attendees will receive exclusive information on new and current projects in the pipeline and on companies planning to relocate to the region. CRES is sponsored by the Prince William County Department of Economic Development.
Past attendees say that this event put them in a better position to make strategic plans based on areas of future growth, to prepare for potential competitors or partners locating to the region and negotiate better real estate deals for themselves and clients.Jim Aram, owner of Advantage Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, LLC said, “Using the guidebook that you receive as a part of your event ticket, I determined that commercial lease prices in my neighborhood had gone down significantly. Rob Clapper, President and CEO of the Prince William Chamber, calls the showcase a “chance to educate the larger business community of Northern Virginia on the scope of opportunity in Prince William.” He made note that during the 2011 showcase, it was revealed that the densest cluster of bio-tech agencies in Northern Virginia is located in the Innovation Park area of Prince William. The 2012 showcase featured statistics on the number of data centers located in the area. Clapper said that this year’s event promises to be even more informative as the emphasis shifts away from a listing of properties to a “30,000 foot view of opportunity in Prince William.”
Nearly 200 commercial realtors, developers and other professionals are expected. Each attendee will receive a CRES guidebook with specifications on over 165 commercial properties in Prince William County and the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. They will also receive online access to an electronic version of the book and additional aerial photos provided by RWS Aerial Photography. Showcase tickets, featuring admission to the event, breakfast, and the guidebook, are available for $65/members and $85/nonmembers (price will increase on 5/22 to $70/members and $90 non-members).
