Chamber Seeks Volunteer ‘Readers’ for National Young Readers Day

Manassas, VA- The Prince William Chamber of Commerce Education & Innovation Committee is looking for volunteer readers for National Young Readers Day, November 14. Each year the committee takes on the task of providing coverage for nearly all public elementary schools in Prince William County and the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. Readers generally consist of leaders in the business community, retirees and even local high school and college students.
Held each year on the second Tuesday in November, National Young Readers Day is a day designated to recognize the joys and benefits of reading. If you would like information on signing up as an individual, or as an entire office, contact Committee Co-Chair Michelle Rao, Manager at Laser Quest: laserwoman@hotmail.com, (703) 490-4180.
