Prince William Chamber Invites Community Members to “Discover Cuba”
Chamber Now Accepting Reservations for Unique Travel Experience, May 3-11
Ever been curious about journeying to Cuba? Perhaps you have even caught a glimpse of its shores while on a cruise ship, and wished it were possible to explore this island nation. The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is offering an opportunity to do just that, with its “Discover Cuba” trip, May 3-11, 2013. Chamber President & CEO Rob Clapper explained that this people-to-people program is open to the public. He said that the trip, which is offered in partnership with tour operator Chamber Explorations, is designed to uncover the long lasting beauty and optimism of the Cuban people.
“You will be able to explore a country that few Americans have traveled to, learning about the customs and traditions. Traveling along with the Chamber also means that you will be in the company of Prince William-area community and business leaders for this unique journey,” said Clapper.
The all-inclusive program includes a Cuban travel visa, roundtrip airfare from Miami, eight nights of first-class hotel accommodations, 16 meals (6 breakfasts, 6 lunches, and 4 dinners), daily touring of UNESCO sites, people-to-people visits, Cuban health insurance, professional Cuban bilingual guide and ground transportation. Cost is $3,599 per person double occupancy or $4049 per person single occupancy.
Clapper encouraged early registration, noting that interest is high in this unique travel opportunity. The Chamber is currently accepting $500 deposits to reserve space. To learn more about the program and make reservations, visit pwchamber.org/travel or call 703.368.6600.
