Interactive Recycling Truck Exploration
MANASSAS, VA, October 15, 2013 –American Disposal Services is proud to attend the Prince William County
Recycles Day and Paper Shred on Saturday, October 19th from 10am to 2pm.
Representatives from American Disposal will be on site to answer questions concerning waste and recycling collection, hand out family friendly informational literature, and educate on recycling.
American will also have a recycling truck on site for children to safely explore. The truck will be on, and monitored by an experienced American representative; so kids can watch the truck compact, pull levers, turn the steering wheel and sit in the driver’s seat.
“We love having a presence at Prince William Recycles Day and we’re especially happy when we can bring one of our trucks; it really gets families excited about recycling.” Amanda Busey, American Disposal Services’ Public/Community Relations, said. “Kids love exploring a real live truck, and parents love that they’re not just having fun-they’re learning about recycling.”
