Having trouble sharing event links from the Chamber’s online Calendar of Events? We sometimes hear that our members want to share our events with friends, co-workers and business associates. But the process isn’t exactly intuitive due to the fact that our online calendar of events is auto-generated by our member database.
Here’s a guide to getting a unique link to share via email & social media:

  1. Find the event you’re interested in sharing at https://pwchamber.org/events/calendar/;
  2. Right click on the desired event;
  3. From the menu of options that pops up, choose “Open Link in New Tab;”
  4. Copy the url out of the new tab and paste into your email or social media post. (FYI: Unlike when you click directly on the event, this will be a unique url that you can share to take your guests directly to the event of your choice.) -or- when you open the event page, click on one of the social media icons above the event title to share directly to Facebook, Twitter or Google+.

Helpful tip:
When sharing your link via Facebook, you will get a box that pops up that says “Web Site Error.” Just click the “x” on the box and add an image to the post. Need an image that matches the event you’re trying to share? Contact Margeaux Clark at mclark@pwchamber.org.
