The Prince William Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes police, fire and rescue workers (both career and volunteer) for their courageous, often lifesaving actions at the Prince William Valor Awards ceremony. During the ceremony their stories of valor are read before a live audience consisting of their departments, their families and neighbors while they receive a plaque recognizing them for their heroic, often life-saving actions. We hope that you will join us this year!
The Valor Awards has been held annually at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in the March time frame. Nominations are received directly from the Captains and Chiefs of each department in the Prince William Region in January with selection made by a Selection Committee consisting of Members of both the First Responder Community and the Business Community. This event is provided as free & open to the public to attend, allowing recipients to bring their families as they are recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty.
