I am the Programming and Outreach Coordinator for Prince William Public Libraries, and am currently working to enhance our 100 Books Before College literacy program. We’d like to expand the program and make it even more impactful, and I wanted to reach out to see if your organization is interested in participating.

Currently, for every 25 books read, the registered teen will receive a mini prize and, once they have read 100 books, they receive a grab bag filled with supplies to take with them to college and an entry into an annual raffle.

I’d love to offer more opportunities to expand 100 Books Before College, perhaps literature/tips on college applications and scholarships, the opportunity to apply for internships, information on program degrees and college resources, trade school information, interviewing tips, bus passes—really, there is so much that we could do with it, and having your feedback/ideas would be fantastic. And if you’re interested in being a sponsor, all the better!

I am always open to ideas on ways that we can improve and would love the opportunity to work with you.
