Laser Quest is Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the Game on International Laser Tag Day
Laser Quest Potomac Mills is celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the invention of Laser Tag on Thursday, March 28, 2019—International Laser Tag Day with a special night of laser tag will be held at Laser Quest Potomac Mills located at 14517 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge. Celebrations include $5 laser tag games from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, prizes for the first ten (10) players who attend, and a special draw to take place as well. Laser tag history will be made in Texas on the 35th anniversary of the day the game debuted in the Dallas area. Laurie Jean Britton, a laser tag enthusiast and blogger from upstate New York, will complete her quest to play laser tag in all 50 states while being cheered on by laser tag inventor George Carter III when she visits Laser Quest North Richland Hills, TX for a celebration on March 28th.
Laser Tag Day commemorates the beginning of the first laser tag, Photon, which was created by Dallas inventor George Carter III and opened its first site in the Dallas area on March 28, 1984. Carter is considered to be the founder of the laser tag industry and will be a special guest in attendance at the event. To help celebrate, a special night of laser tag will be held at all Laser Quest locations in North America.
