American Red Cross 4th Annual Disaster Preparedness Summit

From Crisis to Recovery: Fostering Resilience in the 21st Century
Emergencies will happen – we just don’t know when or where they might occur, or how large of a response could be needed. But from climate change to public health; and cyber-security to wildfires and hurricanes, one fact remains: the frequency of large-scale disasters is on the rise. And how do businesses foster resiliency?
We must prepare now to respond, recover and survive. Recently, as we continue to work, live and volunteer amid a global pandemic, corporations and organizations of all sizes have drastically altered the way they conduct business. But, as we look to the future of disaster preparedness and emergency response, how can we work together to ensure cross-sector sustainability following any type of crisis? And what happens when prioritizing equitable access to resources is added into the mix? From Washington, DC; to Baltimore, MD; to Wilmington, DE and everywhere in between, how can our community and businesses attain resiliency in the 21st Century?
This is a Virtual Event taking place on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Virtual doors open at 7:30 AM and the program runs from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
