Prince William Public Libraries’ Summer Reading program wouldn’t be possible without our amazing sponsors! Our sponsors have truly embodied this year’s theme, “All Together Now,” by contributing more this summer than ever before. Thank you, Prince William County and Manassas City communities and Prince William Chamber of Commerce members.

With your support, children and young adults in Prince William County and the City of Manassas can access free, enriching experiences during the summer break. They read, learn, socialize, develop skills, and experience reading as a fun, enjoyable activity.

Prince William Public Libraries (PWPL) does not use the Prince William County budget for Summer Reading. The program is fully funded by corporate and community sponsorships and grants. This approach not only saves the taxpayers money but offers opportunities for building and strengthening community relations.

Thank you, Chamber, for helping us promote Sumer Reading sponsorship opportunities. Half of this year’s Summer Reading sponsors are Chamber members. This is a prime example of community collaboration that translates into investments in literacy, enriches our community, and fosters brand loyalty of businesses throughout Greater Prince William. It could not come at a better time than this summer when the Summer Reading program theme is “All Together Now.”

Now, join us in reading and exploring our 12 libraries in Prince William County and the City of Manassas. We have activities for adults as well. You can participate in Summer Reading by completing fun activities like exchanging a book recommendation with a friend, starting a book club, watching a movie on Kanopy, choosing a book by its cover, or doing a random act of kindness.

To register for Summer Reading, visit any of our libraries, register online from your desktop, or register through the Beanstack Tracker app on your smartphone. Track your progress by checking off completed activities. Summer Reading lasts until August 20. You can win a prize if you complete 10 or more activities. We invite you to visit one, or more, of our libraries this summer. Maybe you haven’t been to a library for some time? A lot has changed!
