Locally Owned Family Business, OFFIX LC, Gives Back For The Holiday Season
Gainesville, VA: There is no doubt that 2017 was a successful year in business for Offix Lc. How does a company maintain a 94.5- percent retention rate? According to Offix LC founder, Steve Valenta, the secret is creating long-term value and guaranteeing great service within the walls of business and in the local community. Offix takes its dedication to service beyond customers, encouraging staff to volunteer in and give within the community. In November and December, employees from all three locations in Gainesville, Richmond, and Norfolk volunteered to adopt a family for the holiday season. They gathered food items to give to families for Thanksgiving in their respective communities. Providing families with a warm meal to put on the table and celebrate with their loved ones. Last month, employees purchased items for each member in their family to open gifts on Christmas morning. These projects were arranged by Offix Vice President, Kim Valenta.
As an Executive Board Member for a non-profit organization W+Wings, I am truly blessed to be able to participate in giving back to our local families all year long. When you get a phone call or card from a family that you have helped it truly warms my heart. A mother and 4 sons that we helped this holiday season sent Offix a card and she wrote: Just want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for my boys and me. We greatly appreciate it! God bless you all.” It doesn’t get any better than this, said Kim Valenta, CFO and Vice President at Offix.
