Ambassador of the Quarter: Jinnae Monroe

Congratulations to Jinnae (Nikki) Monroe with Professionals by Design, for being selected the Prince William Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Quarter!  Jinnae is one of our most active Ambassadors and regularly attends networking meetings, ribbon cuttings and mentors new Chamber members.  One of the training topics she offers in her capacity as a professor and consultant is “Don’t Just Invite, Include.”  That sums up how Jinnae does everything, by including people into her circles of influence, and that is positively effecting both recruitment and retention for the Chamber.  We are honored to have her as part of the Ambassador Committee.  She is an integral part of advancing the Chamber’s mission to assist members in creating valuable business relationships.

How long have you been in business, why did you choose your field? I have been in the Human Resource Organization and Leadership development field for more than 20 years (as a consultant and college professor), and I made the leap to small business ownership 3 years ago.

For you, what is the primary benefit of being a Chamber Ambassador? The primary benefit is the opportunity I get to share with others the value of being a part of the Chamber. Additionally,  to meet like-minded folks, support our business community and form new relationships. Hopefully, we all grow!

“As a get to know you” — If you could have a superpower, what would it be, and why? My super power would be to fly with the ability to carry the weight of 1 ton on my back. This super power would allow me to fly all around the world delivering food and supplies to everyone in need. Makes me smile just thinking about it.
